Diamond Fire Safety has been appointed to a £300m Fire Risk Assessment and Passive Fire Safety Framework.

Launched by Prosper Procurement, the national Passive Fire Safety framework aims to meet the needs of its members and other public sector contracting bodies in England and Wales.

Diamond Fire Safety has been appointed to cover the London and South East area Lots. The works include fire door replacement and repair, compartmentation, and the maintenance of fire and smoke dampers.

Tim Sawka, Pre-Contract Director for Diamond Fire Safety, said: “This appointment is testament to our specialist skills and vast experience of working with public sector clients, including housing providers. Passive fire protection is critical to a building’s safety and our expertise will ensure that all the required measures are in place to protect those who live or work in the structure.”

Prosper’s Head of Procurement – Design, Tim Jennett commented: “We recognise the importance of our landlord partners in ensuring the safety of their customers and staff, so this framework is intended to provide professional delivery of steps required to make safety improvements reducing the risk of fire issues. Our contractor partners across England and Wales will be able to competently deliver these works so everyone will benefit from this solution.”

Diamond Fire Safety is a principal fire safety contractor with the expertise to deliver both active and passive installations as well as associated maintenance within all types of building, including social housing, schools, hospitals, commercial premises, and listed buildings.

Within the last four years, the team has secured places on ten frameworks for local authorities, housing associations, and procurement organisations.
