Facilities at the Queens Mead Bowling Club, and the Beckenham and Stanhope Bowls Club have been upgraded by Diamond Build Group on behalf of Bromley Council.

External timber cladding on both pavilion buildings has been replaced with coloured textured composite cladding boards and associated works, along with the installation of new powder coated aluminium windows and powder coated metal security doors.

John Gray, chairman of Diamond Build Group, said: “As an avid bowler and club secretary of my local bowls club, I know how important these facilities are for members as well as the wider community. Welcoming people of all ages and abilities, bowls clubs are great places to play sport, socialise and have fun.

“It’s been a pleasure to help the council deliver these upgrades, creating a more modern and attractive environment for all those who use and visit the clubs.”
