Diamond Build Group has welcomed a new face to its pre-construction team.
Paris Rackliff has been appointed as an Assistant Estimator, providing support to a team which serves each of the Group’s three companies – Diamond Build PLC, Diamond Special Works and Diamond Fire Safety.
In her new role, Paris will be responsible for preparing pricing documents and schedules of work as well as helping to select suitable subcontractors and competitive quotes.
Paris joins Diamond Build Group from a bespoke door manufacturer where she worked as an estimator responsible for pricing various door types and cubicle fitouts as well as advising on fire and acoustic certification throughout the process.
Speaking about her appointment, Paris said: “I’ve been working in estimating for nearly four years and have always enjoyed the challenging and engaging nature of the job.
“Working for Diamond Build is an opportunity to build on my skills and work for a main contractor covering the whole scope of a building project. The diversity of the work here means that no two jobs are the same, so I’m going to be learning all the time while benefiting from specialist training and education.”
Ben Causer, Preconstruction Director at Diamond Build Group, added: “Paris is a great asset to our growing team, proving to be very hard working with a keen desire to learn. We look forward to helping her strengthen her construction career. We’ll be supporting Paris by providing ongoing mentoring and training, including the opportunity to complete a Master’s Degree in Building Surveying, which begins in September 2022.”
