New Build Contractors
Founded more than four decades ago, we are new build contractors operating across London and the home counties. Setting us apart from many other new build construction companies is our specialist experience of the public sector.
We are new build contractors with a passion for collaboration, ensuring we work in partnership with our clients to deliver the highest quality projects. We have the expertise and experience to deliver new build projects in a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, and education.
We have built long-standing working relationships with many of our clients thanks to our specialist skills, collaborative approach and proven track record as a new build contractor.
We have the skills to deliver new builds of all sizes ranging single storey extensions through to large mixed-use developments. Although we have vast experience of the public sector, we have also been appointed to deliver new build contracts for the private sector, delivering residential construction projects and commercial extensions.
Our team has the expertise to design and build residential units, including social housing and homes for shared ownership and outright sale. We have the knowledge and experience to carry out traditional building work as well as modern methods of construction. For every project, we work in partnership with our clients to develop the most effective solution.
New build construction companies must be skilled at detailed cost planning, programming, and budget control to deliver high quality developments. Our clients can be assured that we are a construction company with a strong reputation for delivering projects on time and within budget.
Diamond Build PLC specialises in new build projects ranging from £2m – £20m. Diamond Special Works delivers works up to £2m. Diamond Fire Safety works with our clients to ensure their buildings meet the latest fire safety standards.
Examples of Diamond Build PLC’s projects include a residential construction contract for
long-standing client, Islington Council. Diamond Build PLC is helping the local authority to bring 24 new council homes to the Harvist Estate in Holloway, near Arsenal’s football stadium.
The £10m project will see our team construct a mix of one and two-bedroom flats as well as two, three and four-bedroom houses. The properties will be located on Citizen Road, which will also be reconfigured as part of the work.
Diamond Build PLC is also the new build contractor for a £28m mixed-use scheme in Tottenham. The site, which is owned and occupied by Diamond Build Group, was formally an office block, builder’s yard and storage facility. It is now being transformed into a 51,000 sq ft scheme offering 13,000 sq ft of office space and 48 new homes.
Located on the ground floor, 50 per cent of the office accommodation will be used as Diamond Build Group’s new head office with the other half available to local businesses at affordable rent. A mix of one and two-bedroom apartments as well as three-bedroom duplex houses will be built above the office space and available for sale.
The development has been sustainably designed to maximise energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions below those required by Part L of the Building Regulations 2013.
As specialist new build contractors, we are a team of highly experienced construction professionals. Our directors have specialist knowledge, experience and expertise, and lead committed and talented teams.
We pride ourselves on our training and apprenticeship scheme, which has seen us offer opportunities to people of all ages and levels. Our commitment to training is one of the reasons behind us achieving an Investors in People gold award.
