Refurbishment / Contractors / Specialists / Maintenance
We are an experienced refurbishment contractor working across London and the home counties. For more than 40 years, we have been working with our clients to deliver refurbishments of all sizes and across sectors, including healthcare, commercial, social housing and education.
Our team has the expertise and experience to deliver large scale refurbishments, fit outs, repairs, internal and external decoration, window replacement, mechanical and electrical services, and fire door installations.
We have built long-standing working relationships with many of our clients thanks to our specialist skills, collaborative approach and strong reputation as a high-quality refurbishment contractor in London.
In partnership with our clients, we deliver a vast range of refurbishment projects.
In the healthcare sector, the quality of our work has enabled us to forge strong partnerships with several of London’s NHS Foundation Trusts. Our experienced team has a proactive, responsive, and flexible approach that minimises disruption for patients and staff.
Our expertise in the public sector has also seen us deliver commercial projects, including office refurbishment, as well as upgrades and improvements to public buildings such as fire stations, police stations, town halls and libraries.
For the education sector, we have a proven track record in refurbishing and remodelling schools, academies, colleges and universities, including Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) facilities.
Refurbishment contractors must be skilled at working in live, operational buildings. To minimise disruption, we liaise closely with our clients from the outset, agreeing logistic plans and work programmes that are effectively communicated to all relevant parties. All our refurbishment work is meticulously planned, ensuring we deliver high quality developments to the safest standards possible.

The project also included the construction of two new roof terraces on the first floor. A further roof terrace was created at the top of the building requiring the construction of a new dedicated lift, staircase and kitchen area.
Diamond Build PLC was also selected by Islington Council to partially refurbish three floors of Finsbury Library. The refurbishment included new timber panelling, lighting and redecoration, resulting in a clean, light and welcoming public building.

Diamond Special Works was responsible for transforming the ground floor of an existing warehouse into the new contemporary space, which features a folded timber and glass screen that surrounds pockets of workspace. The refurbishment comprised exterior and interior work, including installing new heating and partition walls.
